A local man, who only recently discovered seltzer has decided to dip his toe into the exciting world of craft beer after a recent trip to Byron Bay.
When the cost-of-living crisis canned his annual trip to Kuta, third-year apprentice, Will Johnston, decided to hit the Aussie coastal hotspot for some R&R where he made the life-altering discovery.
Will’s new lifestyle choices raised eyebrows at a local schooner shop this week when he started preaching from the third barstool down from the taps.
“Gettin the Dry are ya?” he chirped at one of his mates going for the same drop that he’s been drinking for years.
“Geez mate ya need to live a little,” laughed young Johnston, who recently discovered boutique Byron establishments like the Northern and Woodys on his most recent holiday.
“That shit’s so bland,” he continued on, taking another gallop on his high horse past his mate.
“It’s like the missionary of beer bro.”
“Ever heard of Stone and Wood,” laughed the young man who thinks he is the first to discover a beer that is on almost every pub’s taps.
“Wrap your lips around one of those mate.”
“Get the Cloudy if you are up for something a little bit outside of your comfort zone Mr White Bread.”
With his mates giggling and the indulgent carry on from their mate, the purchaser in question reportedly decided to cave to the pressure and ordered 5 of Byron’s finest.
More to come.
