The confirmation comes through this afternoon, after a local mate turned up to a BBQ and footy sesh with a case of the Gold Woodies.
Named after the Kentucky region they came from, the Gold Reserve Woodstock’s are the creme de la creme of Bourbon mixer drink range – and something that a group of mates in Betoota Heights are quite excited about.
“Here he isssssss,” shouts one of the boys from the back patio, as the case carrier rolled in with a chuffed look on his face.
“That’s why we always say you are the bloke with a bit of a go about ya,” laughed another.
“Good initiative, as always,” chimed in another, as the bearer of the good stuff kicked off his Connies and ripped out a 4 pack.
“You get that on the big jobs,” replied the man in question, quietly quite pleased with the rousing reception he received.
