A damning report into the awful and illegal government scheme that was Robodebt has been handed down today.
Along with 57 recommendations, the report said that Robedebt was a cruel and crude scheme that illegally and unfairly punished welfare recipients.
The report said that the scheme “subverted the rationale on which income support was provided in the first place: as a safety net to ensure that people received help when they most needed it.”
On top of confirming just how fucking crook the scheme was, the report has recommended that numerous individuals be referred for criminal and civil charges – a massive step in a world were politicians and corporate executives normally get away without even a slap on the wrist.
The recommendations are part of a sealed section of the report that has not been made available to the public.
Following the dropping of 997 page report, seperate reports have now called for those behind the scheme to be found guilty until they can prove they are innocent.
Professor Comen Senz from The Humanities Faculty at South Betoota Polytechnic has confirmed that he believes all individuals should be thrown in jail until the can prove they were innocent.
“That’s how their scheme worked, so they should be given the same treatment,” said the Senz in regards to the scheme that allegedly cost plenty lives of severely affected countless more.
“They can get on the front foot and show us that they aren’t in the wrong, and until they do we’ll hound them relentlessly and make them feel like criminals.”
“And they don’t get to use millions of tax payer dollars on fancy legal defences.”
“They can pay for it themselves, just like normal people have to.”
