A Betoota Ponds bloke unfortunately had a bit of fashion fail on a date last night, with his outfit prompting multiple patrons to summon him every time he got up to go to the bar or toilet.
Alan Petersham [27] is reported to have chosen French Quarter’s most renowned fine dining restaurant as the location for his second date with ‘Alesha’, having stepped up his game immeasurably after falling head over heels for the engineer on their first date (Hog’s Breath).
Donning a combination of a black long sleeved collared shirt and long black pants, which he’d thought gave off a ‘Italian/mafia vibe’, Alan was horrified to discover he looked less like Massimo from 365 Days, and exactly like one of the male waiters serving them that evening.
Which was definitely not the high flying businessman impression he wanted to give to his prospective girlfriend.
After being accosted on his way to take a shit by an angry woman who hadn’t received her cocktail, Alan was forced to unbutton his shirt in the toilet in the hopes he would look different from the staff, but was reportedly reprimanded by the manager a mere ten minutes later for not wearing the uniform correctly.
