In breaking news from Betoota’s social scene, the travelling dream is over for a local girl who has sadly ended her blissful European summer.
The Advocate can report Betoota Ponds hair extension specialist Britnee Walters (25) has indeed arrived back home in Queensland this week after a glittering tour of Europe.
After taking over social media feeds with daily updates from her three-week Topdeck tour, a post on Britnee’s Instagram story this morning seemed to inform the local community that she is no longer finding herself on the sticky floors of a Berlin nightclub and is instead back into the grind of daily Betoota life.
In a post seen by The Advocate, Britneee appears to have hit the ground running this week taking on a 45 minute HIIT class at Primal Pump Studios, a vibey new gym which charges $90 a week for unlimited aerobics classes in a dimly lit rave cave with personal trainers that have less than 4% body fat.
Captioning the story “Back 2 It” decorated with the bicep emoji, Britnee signalled to her followers that no amount of Euro-debt would stop her from signing up to her fav culty HIIT gym, which makes all participants stand for a weird, sweaty group photo after every class.
“Anyone who’s been watching my story would be aware of my month of European chaos, it was London, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, London again, before a quick stop in Greece!” Britnee bragged to our reporter.
“But now that I’m back I’ve gotta relaunch myself into the social scene, I’ve gotta let my 1,100 followers know I’m back in town.”
Unaware that 90% of Betootans have barely tolerated a month of waking up to Britnee’s sun-soaked selfies and hourly updates of the new cheese she’s discovered, Britnee has decided to double down on her ‘return to the daily grind’ content arc.
“I won’t arrive quietly, I’m leaning into it,” Britt told our reporter, “I might post my latte tomorrow and say something about missing Australian coffee so bad.”
“I can’t stop, I won’t stop!”
