Local Swifties around the country are claiming that pop star Taylor Swift’s tour is one of the biggest events in Australian history, seemingly oblivious to local rapper Kerser’s final farewell tour a few months ago.
Lisa Bracehall (23), whose devotion to Taylor Swift rivals that of the most fervent cult member, took to social media with an enthusiastic proclamation of the return of live music, complete with cowboy emojis and exclamation marks. However, her declaration quickly drew the attention of Australia’s most die hard fanbase, Kerser fans.
“I’m sorry It was a mistake. I should never have even said something like that, I hope Kerser fans around the country can understand that it was a slip of the tongue and Kerser is in fact, the sickest.” Lisa said as she pleaded to the nation for forgiveness.
While Lisa’s apology was appreciated by Kerser fans both young and old, some of his strongest supporters say comments like this can lead to a slippery slope towards the country forgetting that Kerser is and always will be the sickest.
“Yeah I’ve been a fan since Straight Out The Gutter and I thought the days of disrespecting the king were far, far behind us, I personally can’t believe it’s the year 2024 and we are still getting comments like this.” Said Jayden Clyde (31), a lifelong Kerser fan.
“To even hint that you think some American could ever be bigger than Campbelltown’s greatest export is an insult to working, and non-working Australians everywhere.”
While the country reels from such a powerfully harmful statement, the coming together of the entire Kerser fanbase has been a great example of the power of Kerser’s reach in these lands and also a reminder that you cannot mess with the sickest.
