A woman sick of copping shit for loving the Sims has this week lashed out at her boyfriend, after coming to the realisation that his SuperCoach addiction is pretty much the same thing.
The argument is said to have happened last night when a very stressed Brea Linetti found herself alleviating some stress by playing some Sims 4 ‘Get Famous’, which for whatever reason, seemed to wildly amuse her boyfriend Matt.
Humming the Sims 4 shopping tune as she figured which hot tub her Sim wanted to buy, Brea was perfectly happy minding her own business when Matt thought to make a comment about her ‘weird game’ – earning
“SuperCoach is the same fucking thing! Except it’s MORE BORING.”
“Can your players seduce a grim reaper?”
“I don’t think so!”
For those living in the past, SuperCoach is a fantasy football format that allows everyday punters to pick a team of real life players who score points based upon their on field performance.
The Classic format allows players to pick whoever they want as long as they fit under a salary cap, while the draft format is more of a captains in the school yard kind of thing.
Managing a team of players whose scores and value fluctuate can be more demanding that being the coach of an actual football team.
“It’s so not the the same thing, okay?”, scoffed Matt, “I have goals.”
“Well my Sim wants to become an A list vampire celebrity.”
“Is that not a goal?”
