There’s been an air of jubilation among inmates of a protective unit of a US prison today as Diddy and R.Kelly finally reunited in their first performance of the song Satisfy You in over 2 decades.
The performance, which many inmates say was a trip back to 1999, was only made possible due to the recent arrest of disgraced media mogul Sean Diddy Combs last week.
Makeshift lighters were seen swaying side to side as the R&B titans wow’d both inmates and guards.
“We are really lucky to be housing these two men at the exact same time, the musical stars have aligned and we look forward to our prison becoming a mecca of late 90s R&B” Said the warden of the prison.
“R Kelly had really been rocking the house week after week, I think out of anyone he’s the happiest to finally have a musical peer in the prison with him”.
For decades Diddy has been known for his savvy business skills and an ear for finding the newest talent in the world of hiphop and R&B.
Unsurprisingly, Diddy has already begun setting up a prison based label that aims to make it big in the world of maximum security live jail performances.
“I’m completely behind Diddy’s plan to found a new label right here in our prison, we have a lot of talent here” the warden said excitedly.
R. Kelly, who has been entertaining his fellow inmates with impromptu performances of his greatest hits, expressed his excitement at having a collaborator once again.
“It’s like magic,” Kelly said.
“When Diddy stepped in, I knew we were about to make history again. It’s all about the music, man.”
Rumors are already swirling about a potential album drop featuring incarcerated talent, with Diddy allegedly scouting for vocalists, rappers, and even beatboxers among the prison population.
For now, the unlikely reunion of Diddy and R. Kelly remains confined to the prison walls, but their collaboration performances continue to cause a buzz in the world of prison live performances.
