The Chair of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation has this evening moved to show how agile and responsive he and his organisation are.
Following global backlash for giving Joe Rogan a bit of a spray, Kim Williams has decided to offer an olive branch.
That olive branch comes in the form of an extensive 30 minute investigation into how strong gorillas really are.
The exciting piece of journalistic work will be a special edition of the ABC’s 7:30 program, with rumours swirling that it will confirm who would win in a fight between and gorilla and grizzly bear.
Speaking to The Advocate about the special commissioned program, Williams says he’s keen to show that the ABC is a modern organisation.
“I’ve got one of the producers to procure a bunch of DMT for the host Sarah Ferguson,” said Williams.
“She will be consuming that before presenting the program on how strong gorillas actually are.”
“Personally, I actually don’t buy the hype on gorillas.”
“I’d choke a mutherfuckn silverback out if you locked me in a room with one.”
“They aren’t as smart as everyone reckons imo.”
“I’d let him come at me, pivot, get behind him and put a reverse choke and a leg lock on him.”
“Game over.”
“Anyway, we’ll know the real facts after the 7:30 program.”
More to come.
