The nation’s Treasurer has today issued a stunning spray at the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Fronting the media to label the central bankers a bunch of ‘fucking gronks’ – Jim Chalmers has threatened to go full Logan on these ‘putrid mutts’ if they don’t lower interest rates next week.
The man who’s watched the RBA raise rates 12 seperate times, says he’s had a-fucking-nough.
“Nah, fuck these dogs,” said Chalmers to the The Advocate this morning.
“They’ve gone and raised interest rates 12 times under my watch.”
“Suspiciously beginning when we went into government, and are no flagging they are going to drop them suspiciously soon after we might be booted from government because interest rates have gone up 12 fucking times.”
“If they don’t drop em at the meeting next week, I swear to god.”
“My and the NME boys gonna be pulling up on those gronks lad.”
“Straight up.”
The Reserve Bank has refused to comment on the threats from the Treasurer, and have understandably refused to comment on the somewhat peculiar timing of the rate rises and predicted drops – given inflation is currently at their extremely manageable target rate and has been for a little while.
Chalmers has refused to expand upon what ‘full Logan’ exactly means, but it can be confirmed that the RBA aren’t equiped to deal with it.
