The team behind the hit new Binge film How To Make Gravy have chalked up another win today.
In some huge news for Australian cinema, The Betoota Advocate can now reveal that one of the nation’s biggest artists is set to pen a musical spin off of the new film.
The artist behind the song has been confirmed as the one and only Paul Kelly.
Less than a week after being released, industry insiders have confirmed that a song about the new Christmas movie is set to be released in the coming weeks.
“It is already in the works, and will be on people’s Spotify’s and Youtube’s before Christmas,” said an insider who requested anonymity.
“Paul was apparently so taken by the film, he’s decided to pen a future Australian and Christmas classic about that movie.”
The song will apparently have the same title as the film, and will pay tribute to many of the characters portrayed in it – like Angus, Dan, Roger, Stella and of course Rita.
It’s also alleged to contain the special recipe for gravy, with the now fabled dash of red wine and a little dollop of tomato sauce.
It’s believed the combination of one of the nation’s most loved singer-songwriters and the popular movie will make for raging success and will be extremely popular during the festive season.
More to come.
