A woman doing some last minute Christmas shopping has unfortunately struggled to find any gifts for her friends and family, but has had no issues finding plenty of gifts for herself – having gone a little overboard with the homewares, it’s reported.
Looking slightly ashamed, Jenny Talbert, 28, admits to The Advocate that she ‘sincerely tried’ to think of some good presents but soon found herself getting a little too sidetracked by the alluring aroma of the Myer bath and body section and Bed, Bath & Beyond.
Jenny has defended herself by stating that it’s ‘hard to buy gifts for people’ and that ‘her toddler nephews have all the toys in the world anyway.’
“It’s hard to buy gifts when your family doesn’t really have hobbies, you know?”, she explains, “I don’t know, guess I’ll buy my dad and brother a bottle of scotch?”
“And get mum a giant candle or something.”
