Suburban mum Karen Mitchell has once again proved that a quick trip to Kmart is anything but brief.
Karen, who casually announced she was “just popping in” for a couple of bits and pieces, emerged three hours later with enough Kmart goodies to last her a lifetime.
Eyewitnesses report Karen’s initial plan was to grab a new doormat and a few groceries.
However, it seems her detour through the homewares section turned into a full-blown shopping spree.
“I just went in for a couple of things, but then I saw their new home interiors for under $10 section” Karen explained with a shrug as she loaded her car with a trolley overflowing with items.
From stackable storage bins and scented candles to a new set of garden gnomes and three new throw rugs, Karen’s haul has been labelled as nothing short of reckless.
Karen’s kids, who initially rolled their eyes at the prospect of a ‘quick’ trip, were left to help load the car with their mum’s impressive bounty.
As they drove home, Karen’s family couldn’t help but laugh and wonder what Kmart’s next promotion will do to their already full house.
