The Betoota Advocate newsroom is today feasting on a veritable array of Pizza Hut frisbees, after a lucrative deal with a big fish.
Our humble regional news organ is dining on the spread of Meatlovers and garlic breads, following our move to label billionaire Adrian Portelli the’Big Dick Lambo Guy.’
The Block investor and cash/grocery giveaway personality transferred the 500 Hawk Tuah Coins to The Advocate’s onshore Dollarmites account, after we gave him that label on the front page of our print edition yesterday.
Portelli made the request to our paper to give him that new title, after getting frustrated by the mainstream media coverage of him.
Like most billionaires who can’t handle not being in control, Portelli has long made headlines for trying to craft his public image in his own vision.
That has seen Channel 9 presenter Alex Cullen stood down over a $50,000 payment, for allegedly being the first person in the media to refer to Portelli as the ‘McLaren Guy’ instead of the Lambo guy.
And that generosity for favourable coverage as now been extended to The Advocate, who have been given a ‘get some spit on that thang’ reason to play ball.
It’s not know what our next move is, but Portelli has reportedly text Editor Clancy Overell offering a couple of ‘Trump Coins’ for the next favour.
