MAFs producers have found themselves striking ratings gold yet again, by pairing blokes with age appropriate partners, and not the 20 something instagram models they clearly hoped for.

Similar to last year, which saw two older grooms make it blatantly obvious that they wanted nothing to do with women their age,  the first two episodes of MAFs has kicked off in true fashion, with the experts pairing together two people that are  doomed to fail – at the expense of the more vulnerable partner, as usual.

In episode one, Eliot, 35, a ‘business owner’ from the Gold Coast, openly expressed his dismay at being partnered with someone who wasn’t under 30.

Episode two followed a similar pattern, with 38 PE teacher Tim, 38, cracking the shits, because he wasn’t partnered with the petite blonde he kept asking for!

Speaking to one of the producers, our reporter learns that making women feel shit about ageing is the latest ratings boost, since the public has grown bored of cheating scandals.

“So yeah, instead of just getting the usual abusive dickhead and pairing them with someone extremely vulnerable, we thought we’d get blokes who clearly want a much younger woman, and pair them with a really nice woman their age who’s of similar attractiveness.”

“Then, watch as the woman gets her self esteem torn to shreds because she’s been deliberately partnered with someone we know won’t be into her.”

More to come.
