Local American Bulldog breeder Blade Renton (32) is in the process of filing a defamation lawsuit against his neighbour, who shockingly accused him of being an animal lover.

The incident took place late yesterday while Blade was proudly showing off his latest litter of Bulldogs to a local small business owner and ex-bikie.

As the meeting unfolded, Blade’s new next-door neighbour, Jessica Lee (28), pulled into her driveway. She quickly stepped out to introduce herself—but that’s when things took an unexpected turn.

“I just noticed that he was showing off about 12 cute puppies to his friend, that’s when I said he must be an animal lover,” Jessica confessed.

“I didn’t mean anything by it, but I knew I had done something wrong when his face turned white”

The accusation had quickly thrown a spanner in the works of Blade’s negotiations, but it had also challenged his own identity.

“She called me an animal lover! as if I’m some greenie doing this for the love of dogs!” Blade explained.

“I do this for the money, I can’t have my tough guy persona challenged when my entire clientele are tough guys who only buy these things to perpetuate their tough guy image!”

Blade says the aggressive legal action is a necessary step in clearing up his name within the tough guy dog breeding community and that he hopes justice will be served.

“These unfair claims are already affecting my bottom line, the damages are growing by the day as word of this spreads” Blade said.
