The NBA world is in shock once again this week, after another bombshell trade announcement!
The league’s most famous team has made another splash, by putting in a huge offer for Parramatta Eels veteran Nathan Hindmarsh.
The offer allegedly came off the back of Lakers GM Rob Pelinka learning that Hindmarsh’s current employer’s Fox Sports, have taken note of the great man’s weight.
“Yeah, apparently he’s put on a few kegs and they aren’t happy about it, so we’ve made an offer for the generational talent,” said Pelinka in an exclusive FaceTime with The Advocate.
That shock move follows the Lakers trading their ageing 31 year old centre Anthony Davis, to gain a top 5 guy in Luka Doncic.
Luke Doncic, the face of the Dallas Mavericks franchise was told to pack his things after management decided that he was playing a bit too heavy this year.
Given that desire to acquire thickbois, it now looks like the 45-year-old Roberston Spud could be suiting up alongside LeBron James and Luka.
Speaking to The Advocate about the shock move, long term friend Brian Fletcher threw his own weight behind his long term TV partner.
“I mean, just look at his numbers,” said Fletcher, with his right pinky finger turning a corner.
“He was averaging 40 plus tackles, 0.02 line breaks, 2.1 steals and 0.003 assists.”
“It’s a no brainer really.”
Fox Sports are expected to receive a random squad member who wants to live in Australia and a 2034 4th round pick.
More to come.
