A woman who hasn’t stepped foot in her school for over several years has found herself randomly remembering the one banger hymn from chapel service, which was the only song in the entire hymn book that wasn’t mind numbingly boring to sing.

Speaking to The Advocate, Brie Reynolds, 29, recalls some of her fondest school memories, which mostly revolve around her being a little shithead.

“I don’t know why, but my mates and I used to crack each other up by pretending to sing the hymns”, says Brie, “or chucking in stupid words and noises.”

“Anything to make that half hour go by a bit quicker.”

Brie says out of the 250 odd pages in the hymn book, there was always one song that was guaranteed to generate a burst of energy from the crowd, including some impoverished dance moves.

“I don’t know what it was called, but it’s the ‘I just thank you god for making me, me, ME, ME song.”

“I still remember every single line.”

More to come.
