A local man who’s still watching 3D movies on his living room television said he still lives in denial in other parts of life as well.
Gavin Pooley, a baggage handler at the Remienko Memorial Aerodrome, has owned the 3D television since 2010 and to this day, the 34-year-old convicted arsonist said he watches things in 3D to this day.
“Well, what’s another thing I live in denial about?” he told our reporter this afternoon outside his Rue de Putain apartment block.
“I was in denial about getting barred from my favourite pub so I burned it down. Nobody was in it, though. I told the magistrate it would’ve been funny if the owner was there who barred me and he burned to death in the flat above because of the metal bars over his bedroom window and that would’ve been what you call an ‘ironic death’ considering he barred me and then the magistrate said, ‘That’s a strange thing to say,’ then he denied me bail,”
“It was a long time ago and when I got out, I got on my feet and I got this flat and a television. Now, I just thing Collingwood doesn’t have a problem with racism.”
Our reporter decided that was enough for one day and thanked Mr Pooley for his time.
More to come.
