The ABC’s chief international affairs analyst spoke candidly to a bloke from the New South Wales Riverina last night on a popular current affairs show about what he’s up to at the moment.
Stan Grant spoke to Stan Grant last night on the ABC’s Stan Grant Hour about what’s going on right now in his world.
“Oh, you know,” Stan said to Stan.
“Things could be better but they could be much worse. I’ve been working on a few things recently, which I think could either be great or not so great. Who knows? I dunno, it’s good to talk to you, though,”
“It reminds me of when I was working as a journalist in Hong Kong. Such an interesting island. It’s terrible what’s happening there now.”
But Stan wasn’t about to let the multi-disciplined journalist get away with such a wishy-washy answer.
“Come on, Stan,” said Stan.
“Tell us what you’re really up to right now.”
Stan rocked back on the sofa and smiled.
“No, no. You’ll find out soon.”
Stan rocked back in his studio chair and smiled back at Stan.
“OK, well. I’m looking forward to seeing what it is you’ve got for us. And anyway, that’s all we have time for tonight. Coming up next, it’s Four Corners but before that, Paul Barry will attempt to roast Joe Aston on Media Watch. Good luck with that, Paul.”
More to come.
