A group of young friends are set for the absolute trip of a lifetime.
The four youngins embarking on an Aussie road trip state they cannot wait to capture the spirit of adventure as they visit the sort of small towns that make them feel utterly terrified after 5pm.
Leaving today, shotgun caller Kerry Don (32) asked for some AC/DC and to let her rip.
AC/DC, or Acadaca in muso terms, are a Western Sydney based Scottish-Australian rock band known for their screeching vocals, heavy guitar riffs and adoration by everyone who has ever driven down a red Aussie highway with the windows down.
“Oi! Oi! Oi!” chanted the friends, in a moment of harmony they would look back on longingly in about four days time.
“Watch me explooooooooooode!”
It is no surprise that pumping an AC/DC playlist brought the road trippers closer together, as just last week the CSIRO confirmed that listening to Angus Young’s bustling riff machine fingers alongside the vocal stylings of Bon Scott make any roadtrip objectively better.
“Singing along to something like ‘Whole Lotta Rosie’ is objectively fun, whether you are an air guitar casual or an expert alike,” stated research leader Dr Helen Bells.
“It’s important that these kids are making this journey because at the end of the day, road tripping with AC/DC on is the closest a lot of Aussies have to a cultural tradition.”
