As chaotic singles around the country wake up with a sore head or an unfortunate one night stand, one local couple has used Saturday morning to confirm that they’re in fact deeply in love with one another.
Taking to social media from ‘8 Degrees Xtreme’, Geography teacher Luke Murray and his long time girlfriend Brittany Spencer, appeared joyful as they spent their morning nurturing they’re already healthy relationship from the walls of a new indoor rock climbing facility in the South Betoota industrial estate.
Uploading a series of stories which showed the couple in carefree giggles in between fits of excruciating wedgie pain, it’s understood the pair included the caption ‘#rocksolid’ in reference to both their impressive climbing skills and the strength of their flourishing relationship.
Speaking to Ophelia Irving, a long time friend and future bridesmaid to Miss Spencer, The Advocate understands the couple’s continuous display of positivity is causing a deep rift of jealousy amongst their friendship groups.
“Ughhh, they’re always so happy together, it kinda makes me sick!,” said Miss Irving.
“Every weekend I wake up with a case of grog horrors, only to see them going on a hike or visiting an art gallery together.”
“I’m going to block them soon if I’m honest!”.
Suspended from the roof of the new rock climbing hub, Miss Spencer told our reporter on the ground that the rest of the weekend was also full of further love affirming activities.
Taking a moment of rest before performing an impressive bridging maneuver, Miss Spencer said they would soon be heading off to the farmers market for breakfast.
“Yeah, after this we’ll go pickup some fresh veggies from the market.”
“And no, we’re not going out tonight! We just got the new Ottolenghi cookbook so we’re making Portobello Mushrooms With Pearled Barley & Preserved Lemon!”
“Although it is Saturday night, so we might spice it up and make it blindfolded.”
“And the blindfold might even stay on after dinner, if you know what I mean…”
More to come.
