It may be 34 weeks late but it has been confirmed that the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are entertaining for the first time in 2022.

This late arrival to entertainment has come in the wake of the sacking of coach Des Hasler due to the professional way he handled a pride jersey debacle that rests solely at the feet of club management.

Now coachless players include a star fullback and his balkan heart-throb brother, Tom Trbojevic, are questioning their future at the Northern Beaches football club.

Regardless of what they think of Desler’s sacking, Manly can at least agree they are finally entertaining this year instead of the usual disappointing and occasionally homophobic.

“Haven’t we suffered enough?” mused Manly fan Seb Birmingson.

“I can’t tell if Penrith have overtaken us as the most hated team or if we still are and that’s why everyone is loving this fall out so much.”

“Why can’t we make headlines for being arrogant instead of divided and afraid of a rainbow?”

At the time of writing it is believed Broncos wooden spoon coach Anthony Seibold is being shopped around as the new Manly captain which punters predict will go down as well as a pride jersey in the Northern Beaches, as the new saying goes.

MORE TO COME.
