The unsinkable Clive Palmer has told the media today in Queensland that Greens leader Adam Bandt will need a free set of teeth if he keep running his fucking mouth about billionaires paying for other people’s dental care.
Mr Palmer, who usually minces his words, didn’t today when he spoke candidly with reporters in Noosa just after lunch.
“Tell you what, how about the hide on this Victorian telling me that I’m going to be paying for other people’s dental care. That my good friend Dick Pratt will be paying for some tramp’s new braces. That Twiggy Forrest will be paying for fillings from Cottesloe to Kunnanurra. Well, knowing Twiggy he probably would anyway,” said Palmer.
“I’m happy to pay for it, I just think it’s a bit rude that people like Adam Bandt assume that I’m greedy. Victorians are a different breed, honestly. We’d be better off as a country if Victoria just snapped off and sank into Bass Strait.”
When asked where he was born by a Queensland-based reporter, Clive said that wasn’t important.
Mr Palmer was born and raised in Melbourne but quickly learned that Queensland is the greatest state in the Commonwealth.
“Just look at all the airports around the country. People trying to escape whatever shithole they live in. Whether it be Melbourne, Crapperlaid or Sydney. They’re all coming to Queensland. It’s great up here,” he said.
“But back to Adam, he’ll need dental on Medicare if he keeps running his mouth.”
A reporter asked Clive what he meant by that and Clive just laughed and threw a lethargic one-two combo.
“He’ll find out.”
