Former senator Derryn Hinch revealed this evening that he often listens to himself on the radio, television or on a podcast while standing in his bathroom looking at himself in the mirror.
“What else is there to do during lock down?” he asked our reporter.
Mr Hinch spoke candidly to our reporter today via telephone, just months after swearing he’d never give this masthead another moment of his time.
“I said the same thing about the drink! I had to promise to quit drinking! Otherwise, God knows where precious SpongeBob, my new liver, would be now? Probably in some crim!” he laughed.
“No, your rubbish newspaper has grown on me somewhat now you’ve had to retract that article about me only learning yoga to one day become flexible to place my penis into my own mouth. That wasn’t very nice. It wasn’t true, either,”
“I abhor autofellatio. In all seriousness, I think to listen to one’s self while gazing into one’s own eyes is a sure-fire way to understanding yourself. In this business of speaking your mind on television, no matter what, it pays to understand and love one’s self.”
More to come.
