Andrew Gregory has never been what you might call a hat person. However, over the past 6 months, the presence of a cap on his head has been duly noted by people around the town.
This has lead to much speculation as to what the actual reason for Andrew’s sudden concern for sun safety, with some even suggesting that Andrews has joined a breakdancing troupe.
“They wear flat caps all the time, don’t they? You know, for all that head spinning.” Suggested one anonymous contributor.
“Maybe he’s got nits” suggest another.
The Advocate reached out to Andrew for comment, however, our journalistic spidey senses are telling us he may not have been completely honest about his hat wearing.
“Mate, skin cancer is one of Australia’s biggest killers, you should be asking why more people aren’t wearing hats,” said Andrew, rather defensively.
When asked why then does he wear a hat at night time too, he responded with even more obscure reason.
“You can get moon burn.”
Sources close to the Advocate have confirmed what we all suspected, that Andrew is in fact balding. It’s understood that he is even taking supplements in a bid to gain some of his hair back. It is a huge blow to the big fella’s self-esteem, as his hair was the attribute that took him from a 5 to an 8.
Balding is a natural part of life, so we can only support Andrew during this trying time.
