The Australian Football League has done it again, it can be confirmed this morning.

Following the release of the wildly successful and popular “Woman’s World” song, the AFL have gone and booked Katy Perry to perform on their biggest day.

The league has hired the pop superstar who is still definitely at the top of her game to headline their Grand Final festivities.

The confirmation came this morning from the AFL, who decided to pull the trigger on the announcement after another week of rave reviews for her new music.

The decision was also reportedly made after the head honchos at the AFL remember that Meat Loaf died a couple of years ago.

“Yeah, we were going Meaty back down for another ripper performance, but we got a bounce back from his email haha,” said Alistair Silver-Spoon, a spokesperson for the AFL.

“Then we remember that he died in 2022. Awkwardddddddd.”

“Anyway, so then we decided who else can give us an absolute ripper how on our day of days.”

“And we decided on Katy Perry.”

“She’s such a widely liked character who just can’t stop making hits.”

“Absolute no brainer if you ask us!”
