The prestigious annual award has been bestowed upon the Hollywood Superstar for her incredible influence on popular culture and global affairs over the course of the year.
Beating a lacklustre cast of back-runners like Peter Dutton, Anthony Albanese, Donald Trump and Raygun, Sweeney has won her first ever Betoota Advocate Person of The Year Award.
The decision to crown Sweeney came as a unanimous one from within the newsroom, with 64 of 65 newsroom staff agreeing on the decision.
Culture and Lifestyle Editor Effie Bateman was the lone dissenting voice, making a bold by ultimately futile plea for Luigi Mangione to be given the title.
