The president of a local Canberra sporting organisation has received a bit of a talking to today, after a major faux pas in a Bunnings carpark.

Jac De Angelis, the man in charge of the APS Tuggers Football Club caused a bit of a scene a short time ago, after staring at King Charles’ fingers for a little too long.

That incident occurred when he was manning the BBQ for the big Bunnings sausage sizzle day, with King Charles popping in to survey a bit of the modern Australian lifestyle.

While the Royals were flanked by a full sporting organisation worth of security and minders, De Angelis was apparently caught drooling while fixating on the 10 English sausages just sitting in front of him.

“Ohhhhh baby, they were looking tasty,” said De Angelis after being ushered away to the back of the carpark.

“They’d fry up beautifully.”

“Bit of Mustard and Tomato Sauce on them.”

“Ooohhh laaa laaaaaa,” he mused.

Local level 3 Timber Expert Vivek Rijal who was waiting in line for his Monday sausage sizzle lunch, said he also found himself marvelling at the chipolata style delicacies.

“Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with the generic sausages they whip up in the car park,” he said.

“By those looked like a serious delicacy.”

King Charles was unavailable for comment on the interest in his fingers.

More to come.
