The newly created bucks party group chat for the newly engaged Prime Minister has fallen a little quiet this afternoon.
After a wave of messages regarding locations, outfits, and so on – ‘Albo’s Bux Chat’ is in somewhat of a lull right now.
This comes after the Minister for Climate Change and Energy Chris Bowen hit the group message with a barrage of borderline sickening gifs and videos.
Starting off with an initial video of a man repeatedly being kicked in the genitals as some sort of weird martial arts training, Bowen has followed up by forwarding a number of videos that can’t be articulated in this masthead.
Seemingly not getting the hint, Bowen continued to send a total of 7 videos, without receiving a single response or reaction to any.
With a number of key details already locked in regarding the Grand Final Weekend in Bali, it’s believed the chat will fire up again shortly with someone sussing if anyone’s keen for a Friday arvo knock off beer.
“Yeah, it was a bit much, even for me,” laughed Penny Wong this afternoon.
Taking the task of organising the weekend upon herself, Wong said she’s not far off telling Chris to pull his head in.
“I’m not some bleeding heart woke sook by any stretch of the imagination, but fuck, 7 messages in a row is only something Rusty could get away with.”
“I mean, we know Chris will go full send once we get to Seminyak, but it’s a bit much to open your phone in Parliament and have that stuff come up.”
“Stick to roasting Bill Shorten or lighting up Nick Cave for being too in his own feelings.”
