Coles’ favourite chef is back this week, and in a big way!
Surfing the airwaves with a brand new Coles ad campaign, Curtis Stone is hitting screens all around the country to remind shoppers of why they should give the red supermarket their business.
Famous for his money saving dinner hacks, Stone is now rolling out a new campaign aimed at showing the Board of Coles Group how they can feed the family with their 1.1 billion dollar annual profit.
The piddly 10 figure profit comes as the nation struggles through a cost of living crisis.
The cause of the cost of living crisis according to the people who run our society is supposed to be poor people wasting too much money in a frivolous manner, and selfish employees demanding pay rises – contributing to inflationary pressures yadda yadda yadda.
However, while some might assume that profiteering companies like Coles, Big 4 Banks, and energy companies might be somewhat responsible for the inflation/cost of living crisis – that has been hosed down by ‘smart’ people who run the economy and know how all these things work.
So in order to keep being relatable to all the Aussie Battlers out there, Coles’ new campaign will show how the board are making do in these tough economic times.
“It’s a way for us to show people how we’ll spent our millions in renumeration to the feed the family,” said Coles Group CEO Leah Wickert today.
“I mean obviously we won’t be shopping at Coles, or even doing the shopping ourselves at all, but it’s just a nice way to relate to the community on how we put food on the table, or get someone else to put food on the table for us.”
“it should be real winner of a campaign and raise our standing in the eyes of the general population I reckon.”
More to come.
