An unusual situation has unfolded in Betoota Heights this afternoon, as a young couple come to an eye-brow raising agreement.
With Stephanie Mckenzie and her boyfriend’s social calendar clear on a Friday night for the first time in over 6 weeks, sources close to the pair had speculated a date night might be on the cards.
Whether eating takeaway on their mass produced Freedom couch or out at some overpriced restaurant in Betoota’s French Quarter, you’d have been forgiven for assuming some ‘Us Time’ was on the cards.
However, in a strange turn of events, Stephanie is now going to enjoy a solo meal and treat herself to a Third Course of FX’s The Bear.
Returning for a 3rd season, the wildly popular show centring around the smokeshow that is Carmy Berzatto, has Stephanie keen for a morsel of her favourite delicacy this evening.
“It’s me and Disney+ tonight,” laughed Stephanie, who is quite the fan of the high octane show that follows around Chicago hotboy Carmy and his cast of characters who struggle to keep their hospitality establishment afloat.
That decision to stay in for a night with her celebrity crush, has seen Stephanie extend a lovely offer to her boyfriend Tim.
“Hey, no need to rush home tonight bae,” text Stephanie to her perplexed partner.
“If you wanna watch the footy and stuff I’m pretty knackered and just going to have a quiet night.”
With Tim now wondering where this gift from the gods came from, he was forced to ask Stephanie if she’s having an affair.
Toying with the idea of a wind up, but acutely aware she doesn’t want to spoil her window of opportunity – Stephanie said yes before immediately flicking through a photo of Carmy whipping up a storm.
With Tim’s conscience now clear, it’s believed the young pair of lovers are ready to enjoy some ‘me time.’
