The planet is today in crisis.

After years of escalating climate related disasters and more extreme weather conditions, it now looks like it could go from bad to worse.

Climate experts have predicted that we could see devastating heat waves and drought sweep across the planet, after the hole in the ozone layer doubled in size this week.

The cause for the great expansion is believed to be Taylor Swift and her boyfriend’s use of a private jet – which has seen the puncture in the ozone layer, devastatingly tear at the seams.

For those living under a rock, the global megastar who is bigger than the Beatles has arrived down under, to play 6 shows across Sydney and Melbourne.

While she will bring half a million people hours of unbridled joy and happiness, and many days of excitement, and memories of a lifetime – her journey down to Australia has not gone down well with some of her detractors.

The use of a private jet for the megastar and her team has of course stirred up people, who believe her emissions are somehow dwarfing the global inaction by national governments and giant corporations.

Since being called out in August 2022, Swift has averaged a couple of private trips per month, which doesn’t even compare to the likes of the Rolling Stones, The Kardashians and the likes of Rupert Murdoch and his family (who weirdly don’t get mentioned in this conversations for some strange reason).

Despite the fact Prime Minister Albanese flies on private jets all the time, and a vast array of celebrities don’t bother setting foot in a business class cabin of a commercial airliner – Taylor Swifts emissions have now torn the ozone layer asunder.

“It’s just disgraceful,” explained a local anti-Swiftie who has had his air-conditioner on 24/7 for the last 4 months.

“I’m so over this whole thing already,” he said, huffing about the tour that will probably bring in a few hundred million dollars in revenue.

“And now, the climate is destroyed too – despite the best attempts to save it by all of the people in power and business.”

More to come.
