After months of dancing through fields of sunflowers and holding hands as they eat ice cream in the moonlight evening – a young couple have been confronted by reality.
That’s right, Ashley Moloney and Brett Ainsley have officially ended the honeymoon period.
Famous for being the dreamy time of life before the first big fight or fart, the honeymoon period is a treasured stage of any relationship.
However, it’s all over for this local couple, after Ashley decided to let the bee out of her bonnet and give her boyfriend the nudge on a sensitive topic.
With the pair driving past a new billboard for ED this afternoon, Ash decided to let her official boyfie know that it might be time for him to get it together.
“Wink wink nudge nudge,” laughed Ash, motioning to the Mosh billboard on their commute.
“Might be time you sort it out and get it up quicker than the fish markets…”
With her boyfriend laughing along, Ash assured him it’s not a massive deal or anything, but just something he should sort out.
“Just a bit of life admin you know babe,” she continued.
“Nothing to be self conscious about, I’d just prefer to feel like I’m not jumping into the sheets with an overfunded public infrastructure asset that just can’t get up,” she laughed.
Thankfully big Brett allowed the flush to run to his face and tastefully agreed to work on moving that blood flow elsewhere.
