A local girl has reintroduced herself to the world of Instagram this afternoon, posting some impressive kiln-baked curations thanks to her new pottery hobby.
After six months of minimal social media activity, The Advocate understands 25-year-old PR professional Haylee Saunders has posted a carousel of sepia-toned images, showing off a beautiful collection of handcrafted Japanese pottery.
The salacious post is believed to have been screenshotted and shared across numerous group chats over the weekend, all thanks to a rather pointed caption where Haylee took aim at her former dropkick boyfriend, a well-known drug dealer in town.
Captioned ‘Guess who’s a pot dealer now?’ and accompanied by the wry smile emoji, this publication understands the accompanying copy was a clear dig at her now ex-boyfriend, Tyson Harper (31), a well known local flog who recently got caught dealing marijuana to high schoolers.
Speaking to local gossip queen Kaylee Edwards (24), the post is believed to have set a new standard in the art of social media break-up tennis.
“Ooooh it’s been a hot topic, I guess back in the day the best way to get back at your ex online was to book a mysterious trip to Bali and post some selfies from a sun-lounger at Potato Head Beach Club.”
“But it’s kinda nice to see someone channel their energy into a positive hobby and take an almighty swipe at their deadshit ex in one go!”.
Securing an interview with the pottery master in question, The Advocate can reveal young Haylee is quietly enjoying her new mud friendly hobby.
“Yeah after that shit went down with Tyson, I went to a hens and amidst the booze and the nibbles, I discovered I actually have quite a knack for this thing.”
“I’ve managed to make a full set of jewellery dishes, as you can see I’m getting pretty good on the potter’s wheel!”
“I’m thinking I might even start an Instagram handle from all my creations, maybe something like ‘From Fire and Mud’.
