A local boyfriend has pulled it off, it can be confirmed.

Local Betoota Heights man Eli Apple managed to get it done yesterday evening, sorting out dinner and a beer without leaving the house.

The long term boyfriend who is actually a fiancè but hasn’t quite cemented the terminology in his brain yet, kindly told his future wife to take a load off last night.

“Leave dinner to me babe, you’ve had a big week,” said Eli, taking some much needed initiative and exploiting Jimmy Brings move to MILKRUN to acquire beer under the guise of grocery shopping

“I’ll whip up a spag bol for us and we can do a movie on the couch.”

“But we are missing a couple of things so I’ll just get ’em dropped off,” said the local young professional.

“Want me to grab a cheeky little pack of Connoisseurs or a little block of choccie?” said Eli, cleverly laying the groundwork to another crucial part of his order.

With his fiancè Sophie confirming that it definitely was a treatie and movie kind of night on the couch, Eli made sure to make it happen.

With his guy turning up in less than 20 minutes, Eli quickly unpacked the goodies and kept on keeping on with dinner.

“Oh how did that get in there,” laughed Soph, pulling out a nice little six pack of Byron Bay’s finest.

“Couple of Stoneys as well hey… So that’s why you needed to get some ‘groceries’ dropped off hey,” laughed the girlfriend of a bloke who often plows through a recipe despite missing 3 or 4 crucial ingredients.

“Yeah, no idea how that got in there,” laughed Eli, proceeding to grab a bottle opener from the cupboard.
