There is no LIE I know to compare to pure imagination.
The destruction of historical figures seems to be the lifeblood of the radical left as they give themself brownie points and participation awards for the desecration of monuments to men of history whose slave trading is not deemed ‘woke’ enough for this Starbucks era.
While retweets and ‘likes’ flow aplenty as a result of these actions, that are little more than the destruction of public property, the left have once again forgotten (surprise, surprise) to turn their frameless glasses back to their rented front yards and start critiquing from within.
Willy Wonka is an obvious start.
Instead of rushing to ‘cancel’ long-dead slave traders, how about you look into the actions of a man whose secretive workforce was revealed to be an uprooted minority known as Oompa Loompas who were forced to adhere to their master’s inhumane ‘Nobody ever goes in and nobody ever comes out’ law just so poor little paper boys could have a bite of choccy on their birthday.
Supporters of Wonka claim the Oompa Loompas were offered refuge from their home in LoompaLand, ignoring the various monetary and arms donations Wonka made to the shifting schisms of Whangdoodles, Hornswagglers, Snozwanglers and Rotten Vermicious Knids that made LoompaLand such a bloody and wartorn hell hole.
Nearly 50 years since his exploits were put to the big screen and Wonka remains a beacon to the left while LoompaLand rots in decay, completely unnoticed by those who would sooner swallow a Violet Beauregards’ ill-fated three-course-dinner chewing gum than the cold hard facts.
Lefties will take to the streets for trendy causes that will get them more ‘like followers’ but not for the justice done at the hands of the tophat wearing man who gave them gobstoppers that despite being everlasting haven’t shut them up yet!
Wonka sang of ‘the hurricane a’ blowing’ yet those who idolise him are yet to turn the hurricane away from Robert E Lee, Winston Churchill and Captain Cook and towards someone more deserving such as some I personally don’t idolise.
But no. For the disengaged youth those who are exhumed and judged by a modern ANTIFA standpoint will never be the ones they treasure most lest they find small orange skeletons in their closet.
If you are wise, you’ll listen to me.
