A local fitter and turner has levelled up this week, by splashing out on a shiny new gadget.
Brandon Williams has finally caved and bought himself an air fryer, after listening to friends and family talk the device up for months.
“It sounded mad, so I just thought I’d grab one with my overtime cash from the other day,” the happily single Betoota Heights man told us today.
“And it is mad,” he explained after airfrying his dinner sized serving of McCain’s chips.
“Just like the pub, but healthier,” continued Williams, referencing the purported benefits of cooking things with circulating hot air rather than a big frypan of oil.
“My mate reckons he re-heats fast food with it too. Which sounds pretty sick”
The sucker for mod-cons then explained that he’s looking forward to making his life even easier going forward.
“Air fry some chips, chuck some veggies on top, bitta meat. Easiest dinner you’ll ever make.”
“Efficient ya know,” said the man who has plenty of spare time to make a decent meal.
“Don’t have to duck to the shops and get some fresh basil because Mr Ottolenghi says we have to”
“No complicated cooking ingredients in separate batches then gradually putting them back in together.”
“Just me. A steak. A bag a chips and an airfryer.”
“It’s the little things”
