Wallabies fans around the country are today coming to terms with a rather daunting prospect.

After reaching the highest of highs, fans of the game they play in heaven are now contemplating the fact that the boys in green and gold may never win a game of international footy again.

This follows the side’s incredibly frustrating loss to Scotland at Murrayfield, with the Wallabies falling 27-13.

After running through the heavyweights of world rugby in Uruguay, Portugal, Chile, USA and Fiji, Scotland dusted the Wallabies overnight.

The game also saw Joseph Sua’ali’i succumb to what looked like a broken wrist, with a few months of rehab probably coming up.

The loss was made even tougher by the fact that Australian Rugby had been completely fixed by the Wallabies two game winning streak against England and Wales.

Despite Wales being on a 10 match dry run, the Wallabies thumping of our traditional rivals looked a decent sign that we were invincible.

However, after the loss to Scotland over night it appears as though serious structural flaws in the game at various levels might in fact be effecting the consistency of our national team.

More to come.
