When local woman Shara Hornick suddenly became obsessed with the idea of a new ear piercing, she hadn’t stopped to factor in how it’d affect her lifestyle.
It’s alleged Shara had been itching to get another tattoo but didn’t have the budget for the large thigh piece she wanted. Nor did she have the money to completely change her hair colour, which was second on her list of things to do.
Whenever Shara got in the mood to change her appearance, it was usually a result of either some form of rejection, relentless boredom or, sometimes, both.
In fact, Shara’s friends had grown used to a spectrum of hair colours and styles, including a bleached blonde mullet, an under shave and that one time she got a bowl haircut for the hell of it.
For this month’s exciting new venture, Shara has opted for a tragus piercing, inspired by an image of Zoe Kravitz she saw on Instagram. If only the cheekbones came with it too.
“I just think it looks super cool”, says Shara to our reporter, “I’m thinking of getting some more around my ears too.”
However, after impulsively booking an appointment, Shara is said to have experienced nothing but trouble afterwards, including a persistent infection and throbbing pain.
“Well, according to all the blood on my pillow, I’m a side sleeper”, jokes Shara, “and got my headphones stuck in it.”
“That was fun.”
More to come.
