If you thought we’d moved past panic buying as a society, then you might want to look away now.

Just as the country had beaten the worst of the Coronavirus Crisis, the nation’s Supermarkets have been forced to take a step backwards and introduce some new buying limits today.

The new limits will apply to condoms, or frangers as they are more commonly known, after a wave of panic buying swept the nation ahead of the weekend.

With NSW relaxing its laws on ‘social catchups’ on Friday at 9am, in line with Queensland and Western Australia, the nation’s singles are reportedly ready to open the floodgates.

After nearly 2 months of limited, confined or non-rooting, eligible bachelors and bachelorettes are set to let rip on the first-weekend post lockdown.

“Obviously we are stoked for the nation’s rooters to get out there and get rooting, but we’d hate for someone to have to run the risk with someone they’ve been lining up for a few weeks now because others have cleaned out the dommie aisle,” explained Coles spokesperson Andrew Walker.

“So we’ve introduced a 1 packet per person limit, and if you really go hell for leather and get through that this weekend, well you can come in and get some more, if you can still walk.”

It’s believed that Bumble and Tinder are also currently working overtime to ensure their platforms hold up, as plenty of suitors work through all of the promises and plans they’ve made over a couple of long lusty months in iso.

More to cum.
