A young woman from Betoota’s Flight Path District has today cleared her schedule for the weekend.
Mish Worthington (28) has told a number of friends and family that she will be unavailable for contact or face to face time over the next 48 hours – as a result of the new Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) concert film being released on Disney+.
“Don’t even bother trying to contact me,” laughed the young lady who is still coming to terms with the fact that her idol came to Australia and she never got to see her.
“I’ve told my mates that Saturday bottomless is off, and the family that Sunday lunch is gonna have to wait till next week.”
“It’s wall to wall Tay Tay for the next 48 hours.”
Worthington told The Advocate that she and her girlfriends did everything short of robbing concert attendees to try and get a ticket to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour shows.
“Laptops, phones, my boyfriend’s dumb tablet thing,” said Worthington.
“We tried it all, but we were one of the countless masses who couldn’t snag a ticket to one of the shows,” she sighed.
“Look, I wasn’t like that girl screaming and crying out the front of Olympic Park in Homebush, but I wasn’t far off.”
“So, now, I’m loading up the snacks, pre-making a couple of margies and firing up the Disney+ for the next 2 days.”
“It’s Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) time baby.”
Her boyfriend explained to The Advocate that he’s not mad at all about the schedule for the next 48 hours.
“Not a problem at all,” smiled the young man who may or may not be off to his local watering hole imminently.
More to come.
