A local man has today sent social media into overdrive by creating a new VIRAL trend.

Coen Yeoman from Betoota’s French Quarter is the man behind the sensational new ‘Real Raw Dog’ trend, which has captured the 6 second attention span of the various social media platforms.

*Well done for making it this far into the article without scrolling onto the Skibidi toilet Ohio piece of content below. Pat yourself on the back, you deserve it.

The Real Raw Dog Trend involves walking to work or the shops or wherever in the pouring rain without a coat, jacket or umbrella.

A crucial part of the trend is also to make sure you do it in a calm and controlled manner. Ie you can’t be running from covered area to covered area trying to avoid the rain. You must walk slowly at a leisurely place through the rain, no matter how chubby the drops.

The new trend piggy backs off the Raw Dog trend, which saw people catch flights and trains and abstain from any form of entertainment – be it phone, tv, tablet or books.

Speaking to The Advocate about the new trend, Yeoman said it’s the next level up for those looking to impress people with pointless displays of stoicism.

“While it’s certainly very impressive to do a 12 hour flight with no form of entertainment, calmly walking through a down pour is arguably more impressive,” said Yeoman.

“That’s serious dedication and commitment.”

“To see a gushing river of water over a footpath that has poor drainage and walk right into it – that’s a power move.”
