If there’s one thing local woman Brea Perry simultaneously loves and hates about working with children, it’s the ridiculous things that come out of their mouths.
From random quips about their favourite TV shows to nonstop questions about absolutely everything, kids offer an endless stream of entertainment – like drunk people, but smaller.
However, one thing Brea can do without is hearing all about the parent’s dirty laundry, and having to face them when they pick up their kids. Such as the new Dr’s student Lily, who has no issue spilling the beans completely unprompted.
It’s alleged Brea had simply tried to get to know the preschooler a little better by asking questions about favourite animals, when Lily let loose with some pretty embarrassing personal information about her parents.
“Mum and dad had a fight,” says Lily, as she plays with a toy truck, “dad does big poos in the toilet.”
“They STINK and mummy has to spray it.”
“It’s because he smokes but he’s not supposed to because it’s bad for you.”
“Do you smoke, Ms Brea?”
More to come.
