The weird smurf guy from the Opening Ceremony of the Paris Olympics has finally broken his silence.

This comes as debate still rages online about the ‘Festivity’ scene, which organisers say was a depiction of ancient Greek god Dionysus, and Christians say was a parody of Leonardo Da Vinci’s Last Supper.

Philippe Katerine, or the pretty much naked blue guy from that scene this morning gave his first interview since everything kicked off on Friday night.

Speaking exclusively to The Advocate, the long term singer and actor explained what happened on that fateful Parisian evening.

“Well, I woke up on Friday morning, shadow boxed my toy monkey and got out of bed,” sighed Katerine.

“Then I put on a bit of Duran Duran and started dancing down to my swimming pool.”

“I love Hungry Like The Wolf as my morning wake up song, it’s weird, but it’s me,” laughed the French thespian.

“Everything seemed normal.”

“Then I jumped in the pool and went for a swim.”

“Did a couple of laps to get the blood flowing and went up for a shower.”

“While I was showering, I realised that I was rubbing shampoo with orange hair dye all over my head.”

Katerine said that at that moment, he knew something had gone very very wrong.

“On the biggest day of my life, someone had seriously fucked with me,” he sighed.

“I quickly ran out of the shower and shaw Amanda Bynes and Frankie Muniz sprinting out of my backyard.”

It’s unknown what the exact motivation for the dye related sabotage was, but it’s alleged on the rumour mill that Katerine may have stolen one of Muniz’s film scripts….

Muniz and Bynes were unavailable to comment.

More to come.
