Former Deputy Prime Minister and the current Member for Grayndler, Anthony Albanese MP has today had a slip of the tongue during a press conference at Ashfield station in the Sydney’s West.

While campaigning for better transport options from Canberra to Sydney’s CBD, the Shadow Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Cities and Regional Development, said big projects like high speed rail could mean jobs for regional Australia.

“Not to mention all the good people in my electorate” said Mr Albanese, before accidentally breaking into pig latin.

“One issue over which there is bipartisan agreement in Australia is the need to find new drivers of jobs growth in the wake of the decline in mining investment. Some of my eshays in the trap never got a taste of that mining dollar. At least give them this” Mr Albanese said.

“From Far West to the Wild West. We all deserve a toll-free ride into the city”

Crowds began to cheer as Mr Albanese straightened his bum bag and went full adlay.

“Australia can no longer rely on mining to drive growth, so we must invest in innovation to build new industries, while also boosting growth in existing sectors like agriculture – my advice to the Turnbull Government and Bill Shorten is to stop being itchbays about this whole andinlay eedspay ailray ojectpray onkgrays”
