Renegade North Queensland MP Bob Katter has this week sent shots in the boardrooms of financial institutions across the country, vowing to crush each and every money-grubbing motherless suit-wearing bastards one-by-one.
Flanked by betrayed farmers, The Honourable Bob Katter III appeared out front of the Queensland magistrate in Brisbane that month to host several door stop press conferences and proceeded to tee off on the finance sector.
Speaking to the media outside the banking royal commission hearing in Brisbane, Mr Katter said the official inquiry was finally touching on the “pain and horror” – and that commissioner Ken Hayne should hear from more farmers.
Mr Katter’s calls for action continued outside the courtroom in Brisbane at lunch time where he appeared with a number of farmers, including Charlie Phillott who lost his farm after being mistreated by ANZ who revalued his farm during the drought and took it from him, despite never missing one payment.
“The people of Australia are disgusted at what has been done to the farming sector of Australia and the farm workers,” Mr Katter said.
“And let it be known. I’m coming for every single of one you”
“I’m gonna crush you bastards slowly”
Katter’s threatening comments were met with cheers from the suited up old bushies standing next to him, and some of the media – before he pointed down the lense of the camera and started chanting for former ANZ CEO Mike Smith to come out and play-e-ay.
