Australian NRL pundit Bryan Fletcher has never looked better, that’s according to his colleagues at Fox League.

“You can actually see the white parts of his eyeballs” says long-time cohost and personal confidante Nathan Hindmarsh (54).

“And he’s obviously a lot more regular. The running joke around this place is that Fletch usually takes the best part of an hour to strangle on out. But he’s been keeping it to fifteen minutes tops. No AGBs. No dead legs. He’s just strictly business”

This comes as Bryan Fletcher completes his much publicised observation of Dry July, which has seen him completely abstain from cold beer or and dark reds for the entire month.

Fellow colleague Matty Johns says with Fletch off the piss for four weeks, he’s had very little to worry about during his trip to France for the Olympics.

“There’s no last minute scrambles. No awkward pauses on air as he tries to catch up. The big fella is clearer than ever.”

“I’ve even noticed that he’s been getting stuck into the salads and superfoods. He’s really gone all in”

Unfortunately, Bryan’s mid-year health kick looks like it will be coming to an end this Wednesday night, as the clock ticks over from July to August.

And both the glassies and bartenders from his usual drinking hole at Bondi’s Beach Road Hotel have been read the riot act.

“We’ve been told to prepare for Fletch coming through like a North Queensland cyclone” says one bartender, Gouldy.

“He’s probably going to be flanked by a couple of his leathery old Bondi mates too. These blokes are gonna have us on our toes”

Speaking to The Betoota Advocate today, Bryan Fletcher says the speculation that he is going to drink 1000 schooners is all a bit silly.

“Don’t be ridiculous” he said.

“I only go to the Beach Road because they do a good parmy. They’ve got a good TV too, which is great during the Olympics”

“I’m really looking forward to the long-awaited showdown between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan at 1:54am on Friday morning”

“Aibek Orlabay versus Loren Berto Alfonso Dominguez in the Olympic quarter final bout. What a match up!”
