In news that has sent the ALP into damage control, US Presidential hopeful Donald Trump has greatly insulted Australian ambassador to the US Kevin Rudd with the type of vitriolic slurs that would really, really upset him.
Mr Trump, who is the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee for second run at Presidency in the 2024 election., was asked about the former Australian Prime Minister during an interview on British television.
Politician-turned-broadcaster Nigel Farage, a man who would likely loathe Kevin Rudd as much as Kevin Rudd loathes him, told Mr Trump that Dr Rudd had “said the most horrible things” about him, including calling him a “destructive president” and a “traitor to the West”.
Trump, who clearly doesn’t know the names of any of the current Ambassadors to the US, responded to this comment with some textbook Donald shit talk.
“He won’t be there long if that’s the case,” Mr Trump responded.
“I don’t know much about him. I heard he was a little bit nasty.
“I hear he’s not the brightest bulb, but I don’t know much about him. If he’s at all hostile, he will not be there long.”
These comments have rocked the Australian Government.
Not because they are too concerned about the diplomatic implications of Donald Trump suggesting our ambassador to the US is a deadshit bully – but because Rudd’s former colleagues are very well aware that this kind of sledge could go nuclear if the Former PM doesn’t have the right people around him to hose down any impulsive and extremely anti-social responses.
Unfortunately, as of an hour ago, it is too late for any Australian government officials to intervene.
“Ohhh Donald hahaha” chuckled Rudd in a live Instagram video this afternoon, with a psychotic passive aggressive tone.
“He’s not one for mincing his words”
“All I can really say in response to this is that I was the first Western leader who was bilingual in simplified Chinese. I was the only Western leader to sail the storm of the global financial crisis that America caused without going into recession”
“And once again, I can speak Chinese. One of the hardest Asian languages. Mr Trump would struggle with Spanish and it’s spoken by 42 million of his own citizens”
“I mean If I lacked intelligence would i be able to fluently say 唐纳德·特朗普将有望与他的啦啦队长鲁珀特·默多克一起死在监狱里!!!?”
