A local binary white cis-male who hates President Trump so much that he often sounds quite misogynistic when talking about Hillary Clinton’s failed election campaign and how it should have been Bernie – has today used a big word.
It’s the type of word you see used in print a lot when people write about CCTV cameras in London, or the extreme surveillance of North Korean citizens.
But it’s not something you hear day-to-day, unless you are talking to someone who is incredibly smart, like Orlando Pippen (31).
While talking about Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg’s influence on governments an advertising, the South Brisbane-based former Frenzal Rhomb roadie elegantly makes reference to early 1900s English Novelist, George Orwell.
The word just rolled off his tongue, Orwellian.
“Man this shit is getting a bit Orwellian, hey” he said during a pointless conversation with the same three guys he smokes weed with every day.

However, Orlando isn’t content with that form of acknowledgement, and in his marijuana-concussed state begins peering across the room to see if any of these guys wants him to explain what Orwellian means. They don’t. So it follows it up.
